HOAS is a cloud-based management and accounting platform for Philippine homeowners associations, subdivisions, condominiums, and residential communities. It combines automated monthly dues and assessment invoice generation with payment recording for cash, checks, bank transfers, and GCash. Accounting coverage includes a chart of accounts, journal entries, general ledger, bank statement import and reconciliation, profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, and trial balance reports. Homeowner records, communications, gate passes, visitor QR codes, amenity bookings, water billing, and an Android homeowner portal extend it beyond core bookkeeping.

Pricing is per property, with a 14-day free trial and no free plan. Growth costs PHP 7 per property per month or PHP 70 per property per year and includes all HOAS modules, unlimited admins, officers, and homeowners, free migration and onboarding, plus email and chat support. Professional costs PHP 6 monthly or PHP 60 annually per property and adds priority support response, auto-tier upgrade, and quarterly account reviews. Enterprise costs PHP 5 monthly or PHP 50 annually per property and adds a dedicated account manager, white-glove onboarding, and custom training sessions. The published plans show unlimited users across tiers, while the main cloud product is available on web, Windows, and Android.

For communities that need financial controls as well as resident-facing operations, the breadth is a central strength. Expense, supplier, purchase order, approval workflow, annual budgeting, and budget-versus-actual variance features support ongoing association administration. Google Calendar, GCash, and Google Drive integrations provide connections with familiar tools. HOAS also lists AI features and offers an offline Windows edition for associations that need local data storage. Choose it when per-property pricing, Philippine payment support, and combined accounting and community management fit the operating model. A narrower accounting product may suit associations that do not need portals, billing extensions, or property-management modules.

HOAS pros and cons

    • Homeowner portal, Android support, and community operations modules
  • Where it doesn't
    • No free plan; subscriptions are priced per property
    • Several modules may require more setup than basic accounting tools
    • Cloud and offline Windows editions are separate product options
