Hivebrite is a SaaS community management and engagement platform for higher-education institutions, associations, nonprofits, and commercial organizations. It brings together member directories, customizable profiles, groups, subcommunities, discussion forums, live feeds, messaging, event management, memberships, content sharing, analytics, permissions, and moderation. Communities can use public, private, or invisible spaces, while organizations can manage branding, member data, workflows, and domain settings from a centralized platform. Hivebrite supports web, iOS, Android, and API access.

Pricing is aimed at organizations with substantial community budgets. According to the vendor's published plans, Core costs $895 per month when billed annually and includes directories, events, memberships, connections, monetization, unlimited users, email campaigns, automations, and AI. Flex costs $1,995 per month when billed annually and adds community champions and group management. Prime includes autonomous subcommunities and governance, with pricing after discovery. Custom Fit adds deep customization, workflows, and extensibility at custom pricing. There is no free plan.

The platform's breadth is its main reason to consider it. Event tools cover registration, RSVPs, reminders, check-in, and follow-up, while AI features support moderation, matching, recommendations, and profile summaries. Integrations include API, SSO, Google Tag Manager, Zoom, Salesforce, and HubSpot. Optional white-label mobile apps extend the platform beyond its web experience. Hivebrite fits organizations that need a wide community operating layer and can fund advanced capabilities. Smaller teams seeking a simpler or lower-cost community tool may find its starting price difficult to justify.
