Hike POS is cloud-based point-of-sale and retail management software for brick-and-mortar stores, pop-ups, and multi-location retailers. It combines checkout and payment processing with inventory, purchasing, customer profiles, reporting, employee permissions, loyalty, gift cards, and ecommerce synchronization. Web, iOS, Android, and API access support different operating setups, while compatibility with printers and barcode scanners helps connect the software to existing retail hardware. Its offline transaction support also suits stores that need to continue selling before syncing later.

Pricing is organized around outlet count and operational depth. Essential costs $59 per month when billed annually and is designed for a single outlet. It includes unlimited products, users, and customers, basic business reporting, product management, and stocktaking. Plus costs $99 per month with annual billing and adds multiple outlets, advanced user permissions and custom roles, Hike ecommerce, and advanced inventory and reporting features. Enterprise is intended for large and franchise businesses, with bespoke customization and quote-based pricing. A 14-day free trial is available, and the published plans also support monthly billing options.

Hike’s strongest fit is a retailer that wants POS and ecommerce activity connected to shared inventory and centralized store management. Integrations include Shopify, BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Magento, Neto, Deputy, Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks Online, and Mailchimp. Reporting covers sales, transactions, products, profit, and stores, while employee roles and access controls help separate staff responsibilities. Essential suits a single-location operation with core stock and checkout needs. Retailers requiring multiple outlets, ecommerce, advanced permissions, or deeper reporting should consider Plus; larger franchise businesses are directed toward Enterprise.

  • Where it doesn't
    • Essential supports only one outlet.
    • Advanced permissions and ecommerce are reserved for Plus.
    • Enterprise uses bespoke customization and quote-based pricing.
