Harakirimail review
A simple free option for temporary addresses, with public inboxes and mobile access.

Harakirimail is a free disposable email service for receiving messages without exposing a personal address. It creates arbitrary @harakirimail.com addresses and displays incoming messages in a web-based inbox. The service is aimed at people who need a temporary address for short-lived sign-ups or message receipt, particularly free users who want simple access across the web, iOS, and browser extensions. Messages are automatically deleted after 24 hours, giving each inbox a short retention window.
Access is straightforward across its available platforms. Users can generate and use temporary addresses through the website, an iOS app, and browser extensions. The service uses SSL for site access, while the browser extensions provide a direct way to generate addresses when browsing. This platform coverage makes Harakirimail more suitable for casual, mobile-oriented use than for workflows that need programmatic controls or deeper integrations. The service does not provide verified API access or attachment support, which limits its usefulness for automation and richer email exchanges.
The main consideration is inbox privacy: Harakirimail provides publicly accessible inboxes, and its positioning includes no inbox protection. That makes the service a poor fit for confidential messages, account recovery, or any situation where received email should be restricted to one person. It is better suited to low-risk, temporary message receipt where a 24-hour lifespan is appropriate. Choose Harakirimail for a free disposable address with iOS and browser access; choose an alternative when private inboxes, protected access, verified API support, or attachments are required.
