Happlicant is a cloud-based applicant tracking system and recruiting CRM for independent recruiters, boutique agencies, and small staffing teams. It brings candidate and client databases together with customizable job, lead, and client pipelines. Recruiters can manage application pages, candidate document uploads, submissions, client feedback, placement fees, commissions, and revenue in one workspace. Its LinkedIn Chrome extension supports importing candidates, clients, and contacts, while the platform also includes an integrated mailbox, tasks, reminders, reporting, and automated events.
Pricing is straightforward across the published plans. Pro costs $69 per user per month when billed quarterly, or $75 per user per month when billed monthly. Both Pro options include campaigns and sequencing, AI resume formatting and branding, a client portal, LinkedIn sourcing extension, AI resume parser, and ATS and CRM automation. A seven-day trial is available without a credit card. Enterprise includes all Pro features plus a dedicated account manager, custom APIs, custom dashboards and reporting, single sign-on, and unlimited users. The quarterly Pro option is the clearest fit for a small team seeking the core recruiting workflow at a lower monthly rate.
Happlicant’s strongest area is the connection between sourcing, relationship management, and placement operations. Searchable profiles with Boolean, proximity, and advanced filtering support focused candidate discovery, while application pages, campaigns, sequencing, and client portals help move candidates through the hiring process. Gmail and Calendar, Microsoft Outlook and Calendar, the LinkedIn extension, and an open API broaden its fit with existing recruiting workflows. Agencies that need timesheets, invoicing, or job-board posting should choose a different system or pair Happlicant with other tools. For small recruiting teams prioritizing a modern ATS and CRM, it offers a focused feature set; Enterprise is better suited to organizations needing expanded administration and user capacity.
