A capable, accessible presentation tool with a narrower graphic-design focus.

Google Slides is a browser-based presentation creation and delivery tool for individuals, teams, educators, and organizations. It supports templates, themes, layouts, backgrounds, fonts, color schemes, text, images, shapes, diagrams, and lines. Live co-editing, comments, sharing permissions, offline editing, and Microsoft PowerPoint support make it suitable for collaborative slide work, while mobile apps extend access beyond the browser.
The free option provides presentation creation through Google Accounts at no cost. Google Workspace plans add business capabilities: Business Starter costs $7 per user per month with annual billing and includes 30 GB pooled storage per user, business email, and Google Slides. Business Standard costs $14 per user per month with annual billing, adding 2 TB pooled storage per user and Gemini in Slides. Business Plus costs $22 per user per month with annual billing, offering 5 TB pooled storage per user and Vault. Enterprise includes Google Slides and data loss prevention, with contact-sales pricing. Published plans also show a 14-day free trial.
Its strongest fit comes from the Google ecosystem. Google Drive supports file access and storage, Google Meet supports presentation workflows, Canva is an integration, and add-ons extend Google Slides. Presentations can be created and edited on the web, iOS, and Android, with offline access and editing available. Eligible plans also support presentation recording and speaker spotlight, while Gemini can assist with slide and image generation. Choose Google Slides for collaborative presentations, Google Workspace alignment, and PowerPoint compatibility. Choose a more specialized graphic-design tool when illustration depth or broader visual design capabilities matter more than slide collaboration.
