Google Flow review
A broad AI video studio with free access, extensive controls, and paid credit tiers.

Google Flow is a web and mobile AI filmmaking tool for creators, filmmakers, artists, and other visual storytellers. It generates and edits video with text prompts, images, frames, ingredients, and video references. The feature set covers text-to-video, video extension, video-to-video editing, scene building, camera motion and perspective controls, character and avatar references, voice references, natural-language editing, asset organization, and custom creative tools. Commercial use is supported, and the category specifications list up to 4K output.
Flow’s pricing is built around daily and monthly credits. The free access tier includes 50 daily credits plus text-to-video, frames-to-video, ingredients-to-video, video extension, and video-to-video editing. Google AI Plus costs $4.99 per month and adds 200 monthly credits, Flow Tools creation, 1080p upscaling, and higher image-generation limits. Google AI Pro costs $19.99 per month, includes 1,000 monthly credits, allows credit top-ups, and includes Plus features. Google AI Ultra costs $99.99 per month with 10,000 monthly credits, 4K upscaling, the highest image-generation limits, and the highest agent access. A $199.99 monthly Ultra plan raises monthly credits to 25,000 and adds 30 TB of storage.
Its ecosystem fit is a central advantage: Flow works with Veo, Gemini, Imagen, and Nano Banana, while supporting web, iOS, and Android. The combination suits creators who want to move from prompting into editing, reference management, and repeatable creative workflows. It is less suitable for occasional users who need predictable output volume without monitoring credits, or for teams seeking a narrowly focused video tool rather than a broad generative media studio. Choose Flow for varied AI filmmaking and layered control; choose an alternative when simpler pricing or a more specialized workflow matters more.
