Google Calendar review
A versatile calendar for personal schedules and Google Workspace collaboration.

Google Calendar is an online calendar and scheduling application for individuals, teams, and organizations. It supports event and meeting scheduling, shared calendars with configurable permissions, multiple calendar views, appointment-booking pages, focus-time scheduling, task dates, event attachments, and schedule analysis through Time Insights. Personal Google Accounts cover core Calendar features, while Google Workspace plans extend the product for business use. It is a strong fit for people and teams already organizing work around Google services.
The pricing structure spans a free Personal plan and paid Workspace tiers. Personal includes core calendar and event scheduling, calendar sharing, and one appointment-booking page. Business Starter costs $7 per user per month when billed monthly and adds 30 GB pooled storage per user, 100-participant video meetings, and Google Workspace business features. Business Standard costs $14 per user per month monthly and adds 2 TB pooled storage per user, appointment booking pages, and video meetings with recording. Business Plus costs $22 per user per month monthly, with 5 TB pooled storage per user, expanded Workspace features, and enhanced video meeting capabilities. Enterprise includes enterprise Workspace features with contact-sales pricing.
Its ecosystem fit is a central strength. Google Meet can be added to events, Gmail and Google Tasks connect with scheduling workflows, Stripe is listed among integrations, and Calendar can synchronize with other applications using two-way synchronization. Web, iOS, and Android coverage supports access across common work and personal devices. The main dividing line is subscription scope: core personal scheduling is available without a paid Workspace tier, but broader booking options, reminders, administrative controls, and business capabilities depend on eligible subscriptions. Choose Google Calendar for a general-purpose calendar closely connected to Google Workspace; choose an alternative if you need a calendar product outside that ecosystem or want advanced business features without a Workspace plan.
