Geotab provides cloud-based fleet management software for businesses and public-sector organizations that operate vehicle fleets. MyGeotab brings vehicle and driver data together for near-real-time GPS tracking, trip history, route planning, maintenance, fuel monitoring, driver behavior management, compliance workflows and reporting. Fleet managers and drivers can access mobile applications, while the platform also supports web, Windows and Linux. Its breadth makes it a fit for larger fleets managing operational and regulatory needs in one system, rather than teams seeking only basic location tracking.
The two published packages are GO Core Plan and GO Plan. GO Core includes GPS tracking, a live map, trip history, event alerts, basic routing and dispatch optimization, maintenance scheduling, inspections, work orders and basic IFTA reporting. GO Plan adds advanced collision risk management and AI safety scoring, HOS/ELD and tachograph management, predictive maintenance and fault diagnostics, full fuel monitoring, idling insights, EV monitoring and sustainability reporting. According to Geotab's software packages page, prospective customers need to contact sales for pricing; there is no free plan. Buyers should compare the operational value of the added safety, compliance and monitoring tools against their requirements before choosing a package.
Integration options are a notable part of the platform's fit. Geotab supports MyGeotab SDK, APIs, the Geotab Marketplace, third-party hardware and OEM connected-vehicle data sources, giving organizations options to connect existing systems and vehicle data. Custom reports, dashboards and fleet analytics complement those connections. That ecosystem and the range of compliance workflows suit fleets with varied vehicles or detailed oversight needs. A smaller operation looking for a simple, standalone tracker may find the combined scope unnecessary; teams that need vehicle visibility alongside maintenance, fuel, safety and compliance are more likely to benefit from considering Geotab.
