Genesys Cloud CX is a cloud contact-center and customer-experience platform for organizations of varying sizes. It brings voice, digital channels, WhatsApp, email, chat, routing, analytics, workforce management, AI capabilities, and CRM integrations into one system. Its strongest fit is for teams that want WhatsApp business messaging alongside traditional contact-center channels, with a unified agent workspace and automation through virtual agents, chatbots, Architect flows, and skills-based routing.

The published plans show four paid tiers, all priced per user per month with annual billing. Genesys Cloud CX 1 starts at $75 and includes voice, call routing, speech-enabled IVR, analytics and reporting, unified communications, and virtual agents. CX 2 is $115 and adds digital channels, omnichannel routing, quality assurance and compliance, knowledge, and native bots. CX 3 is $155 and adds workforce management, forecasting and scheduling, plus speech and text analytics. CX 4 is $240 and adds Agent Copilot, journey management, and predictive routing. The tier structure lets buyers match capabilities to operational needs, but teams must move up the plans for specific workforce, analytics, and AI features.

WhatsApp is a central strength: teams can manage conversations in the same workspace as voice, email, and chat, use approved message templates, send outbound campaigns and notifications, and route messages through Architect and in-queue flows. Salesforce, ServiceNow, AppFoundry applications, and open APIs extend its ecosystem. Choose Genesys Cloud CX when unified channels, WhatsApp automation, routing, and contact-center depth matter together. Teams seeking a narrower contact-center tool with fewer plan layers should consider an alternative.
