Generosity Works is fundraising event software for charity galas, fundraising dinners and other live events. It brings auctions, ticketing, guest registration, seating, pledges, raffles, peer-to-peer fundraising, payments and reporting into one platform. Web, iOS and Android support mobile bidding, guest interactions and event participation. It suits charities running auction-led events that need branded event pages, QR check-in, gala screens and donor-facing payment options.
The published plans show two routes. The “Platform with Kevin auctioneer or host” plan includes the full platform with an auctioneer or host booking, custom branding and event configuration, and keeps the platform live for one month after the event. “Software on its own” costs £995 per year and is designed for self-run events, with the full platform, custom event setup and branding, and no commission or per-guest fee. Organisations comparing costs should distinguish the auctioneer or host package from the standalone annual licence.
Auction functionality is a central strength. Silent, live and sealed-bid formats are supported, while mobile bidding adds outbid alerts, proxy bidding and anti-snipe features. Ticket tiers, named guests, QR check-in, table planning and seating cover the operational side of a gala. Pledges, fund-a-need, Gift Aid capture, raffles and prize draws extend the fundraising options, while email, SMS and WhatsApp support guest messaging. Stripe, Apple Pay and Google Pay handle payments, and CRM export plus event reporting support follow-up. Choose Generosity Works when an event needs this breadth; smaller fundraisers focused only on ticketing or basic donations may prefer a narrower tool.
