GameSave is a Windows desktop app for organizing games and turning activity into a progression system. It links libraries from Steam, GOG, Epic, Xbox, EA, Ubisoft, itch.io, Battle.net, Riot Games, PlayStation, and retro platforms in one hub. The free core app covers completion history, achievements, play activity, friends, messaging, and leaderboards. It is aimed at Windows users who want one place to follow a cross-platform backlog instead of checking each gaming service separately.
Its main strength is breadth within the gaming-tracker category. Completion history includes calendar heatmaps, recaps, and timeline views, while progress statistics, trends, charts, and almost-unlocked achievement tracking provide several ways to review activity. The achievement system adds rewards, levels, ranks, and career profiles. Global leaderboards include integrity checks and anti-cheat enforcement. Speedrunners get a built-in timer with categories, splits, personal bests, and attempt history. Retro users can import ROM libraries through a watch folder and connect RetroAchievements. Friends, live presence, encrypted one-to-one messaging, and an external in-game overlay extend GameSave beyond a basic achievement list.
The pricing structure keeps the core app free, while GameSave Pro adds additional pages, analytics, tools, themes, and other benefits. According to the published plans, Monthly costs $9.99 per month, Quarterly costs $24.99 per 3 months, and Annual costs $89.99 per year. The Lifetime plan costs $149.99 one time and includes lifetime GameSave Pro access plus a permanent Founder badge. GameSave is currently in open beta for Windows 10 and 11, with native support for other platforms described as a long-term roadmap item. Choose it for an integrated Windows gaming hub with social and analytical features; choose an alternative if you need a non-Windows app or a verified game database.
