GALAX Xtreme Tuner Plus review
A free Windows and mobile utility with broad controls for compatible GALAX hardware.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
GALAX Xtreme Tuner Plus is a free utility for compatible GALAX graphics cards and related RGB hardware. It is aimed at GALAX GPU owners and PC enthusiasts who want to monitor temperatures, frequencies, and fan speeds, adjust performance, and manage lighting from Windows or a mobile device. The software combines one-click and manual overclocking with manual fan control, multi-GPU customization, and ARGB features for supported hardware.
Its main strength is the range of controls in one utility. The Free plan includes GPU monitoring, RGB effect control, fan-speed control, and overclocking controls. Supported graphics cards can expose up to 20 ARGB effects, while motherboard RGB sync mode and AllSynq ARGB box support extend control across parts of the GALAX ecosystem. Mobile control is available through a QR-code or IP connection, with free Android and iOS apps for wireless adjustments.
The trade-off is hardware scope. GALAX Xtreme Tuner Plus is most relevant when the system uses compatible GALAX graphics cards and supported GALAX RGB accessories; capabilities vary by graphics card and accessory. Users focused on GALAX hardware can choose it for centralized monitoring, tuning, fan management, and lighting control without a paid tier. Those without compatible GALAX components, or those seeking a broader hardware-neutral utility, should consider an alternative designed around wider component support.
