Froala Editor is a JavaScript-based WYSIWYG HTML editor designed for developers embedding rich-text editing into websites and web applications. It supports web, iOS, and Android, and fits teams building content management, publishing, collaboration, or structured editing features into their own products. The editor covers rich-text formatting, customizable toolbars, tables, image and video handling, file and media workflows, Markdown editing, code view with syntax highlighting, spell checking, word and character counts, and export to Microsoft Word. It is a commercial product rather than a standalone desktop text editor.
Its strongest fit is an application that needs a broad editing surface and framework flexibility.
