FreeLingo is a language-learning app for individual learners who want an AI tutor and a structured practice routine. It combines a CEFR assessment and placement test with a personalized study plan, grammar and vocabulary references, and reading and listening exercises. AI chat and real-time voice conversations add interactive practice, while flashcards, spaced repetition, skill scores, streaks, and end-of-level assessments support ongoing review. It is available as a hosted web app and as open-source software for self-hosting.
The learning flow spans placement, practice, and progress review rather than focusing on conversation alone.
