A pay-as-you-go invoice extraction API with structured output and ERP integrations.

FormX Invoice OCR API is a REST-based service for turning invoices into structured data. It is designed for developers, businesses, and finance teams integrating invoice processing with ERP or accounting systems. The API extracts vendor details, invoice numbers, dates, totals, purchase-order references, payment terms, and line items, then returns structured JSON or CSV and Excel-compatible data. Configurable extraction fields, batch processing, webhooks, and SDKs for Python, Node.js, Java, and .NET support application-led workflows.
Pricing is available through usage-based and monthly plans. Pay-as-you-go processing costs $0.30 per page, includes the first 100 pages for trial, has no minimum commitment, and excludes advanced features. The Starter plan costs $299 per month per extractor and includes 3,000 pages per month, community forum support, advanced table extraction, split and classify, and AI code mapping. Enterprise adds a custom SLA, dedicated account manager, onboarding support, and private cloud deployment. This structure suits teams that want to align spend with page volume, while the Starter tier is aimed at recurring workloads that need additional extraction capabilities.
Its main strength is focused invoice data extraction rather than end-to-end accounts payable management. Integrations include SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business One, Oracle NetSuite, QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and Microsoft Dynamics 365. Purchase-order number and reference extraction is supported, but teams requiring PO matching, approval routing, or duplicate detection should choose a broader AP automation product. FormX is a strong fit for developers building invoice ingestion into existing systems; organizations seeking a complete approval and control workflow should look elsewhere.
