Forge by Focaloid is a configurable platform for designing, running and governing multi-agent AI workflows. It is intended for enterprise and regulated operational workflows, particularly engineering teams that need controlled orchestration across agents, tools, human steps and business systems. Teams can build workflows in a browser-based visual editor or define them with low-code YAML/JSON, then deploy them as APIs, scheduled jobs or event handlers.
Its orchestration depth is the central strength. Forge supports routing and parallel fan-out across multiple agents, along with retries, shared state and agent-to-agent handoff. Human approval, review and escalation steps provide control over workflows that should not run without intervention. Simulation and inspection of workflow runs, guardrails, evaluation gates, versioning, audit trails and observability add governance around development and operation. This makes Forge a fit for teams that value inspection and control as much as workflow composition.
Platform fit is broad: workflows can connect to MCP servers, REST APIs, internal APIs, ERP and CRM systems, Databricks, vector stores, AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. The platform supports customer-selected models and systems, while deployment can occur in the customer’s cloud. Forge uses a contact-sales pricing model and is described as a framework delivered with the customer and then handed over, so organizations should be prepared for a customer-specific implementation path. It suits teams building governed, multi-step automation; organizations seeking a simple standalone agent builder or self-service plan comparison should look elsewhere.
