Foreca Weather API supplies weather data to developers and businesses building apps, websites, consumer-facing services and internal tools. It is designed for teams that want to integrate forecasts and related data into their own products, rather than for Android users looking for an app to check the weather directly. The API supports queries by coordinates or location names and returns JSON; other formats are available as a custom solution. Its catalog includes current conditions, global point forecasts, map layers, air quality and other weather data products.

Forecast coverage spans 15-minute, hourly and daily intervals. Weather maps are served as tiles, while marine weather, severe weather warnings, pollen, hurricane forecasts and climate data are available on selected plans. Weather History observations are available on request. This breadth suits products that need more than a basic forecast feed, but the tier-based availability means teams should match the plan to the specific data they need. The Freemium option includes point forecasts and air quality for non-commercial use, with self-service documentation and a QPS limit of 10.

According to the vendor's pricing page, Stratus starts at €99 per month and includes point forecasts, air quality, maps, basic support and a QPS limit of 10. Cumulus costs €159 monthly and adds marine weather; Altocumulus is €319 monthly, with business support and a 99.5% uptime SLA; Cirrus is €449 monthly and adds weather warnings and pollen forecasts. A 30-day trial is available. Choose Foreca when building a service that needs API-delivered weather data and plan-specific products. It is not the right fit for someone who wants a conventional Android weather app without integration work.
