Forcepoint Email Security Cloud filters inbound and outbound external email before it reaches an organization’s network. It combines antivirus and antispam filtering with phishing detection, malware analysis, attachment and image analysis, quarantine controls, message tracking and centralized policy management. The service is designed for organizations using Microsoft Exchange, Gmail for Business or other email providers. As a cloud gateway, it can protect email traffic without on-premises hardware or endpoint software, making it a fit for businesses that want filtering managed before messages reach their network.

The published buying model is contact sales rather than a listed self-service subscription. Forcepoint provides a cloud portal for centralized policies, reporting and message tracking, while domain- and IP-based routing controls support email-flow management across supported providers. Exchange, Gmail for Business and other email platforms are named integrations, so the product is suited to organizations whose mail environment fits that broad provider model. The service is accessed through the web, with administrative controls concentrated in the cloud portal.

Its strongest differentiator is the combination of cloud sandboxing, attachment analysis and phishing detection with practical quarantine workflows. Administrators can search and release quarantined messages, and end users may access quarantined items and take message actions when self-service controls are enabled. Quarantine retention is 30 days. Organizations seeking layered cloud-gateway inspection and centralized control should consider it; teams wanting transparent plan pricing, a non-cloud deployment, or end-user quarantine access enabled by default should look for an alternative.
