FoodNotify is a cloud-based hospitality management platform for restaurants, restaurant chains, hotel groups, caterers and other food-service operators. Its Recipes module covers recipe creation, centralized recipe management, supplier-linked ingredient costing, menu cards, allergen and nutrition data, and cost-of-goods monitoring. Procurement and ERP capabilities extend into supplier ordering, inventory levels, stocktaking and multi-location control. The product is especially suited to established operators managing several sites rather than smaller teams seeking a narrowly focused recipe-costing tool.
Pricing is location-based and billed monthly. Starter costs €174.90 per location per month and includes the Procurement and Recipes modules, one location, one automated supplier connection, unlimited manual supplier shops and a Support Center. Pro adds the ERP module, supported setup, onboarding project management and multiple automated supplier connections, with custom pricing. Enterprise also includes Procurement, Recipes and ERP, then adds analytics integration, a dedicated onboarding manager and a support SLA, also with custom pricing. The tier structure gives growing operators a path from single-location purchasing and recipe work to broader operational coordination, while the entry price places the product firmly in the paid business-software segment.
FoodNotify’s breadth is a central strength. It combines recipe costing, automatic ingredient-price and recipe-cost updates, COGS thresholds and alerts, real-time inventory, barcode scanning, mobile ordering, multi-location management, and supplier connections. Its ecosystem includes POS systems, Eaternity, BLS, GS1, invoice management systems, BI tools and personnel management software, with web, iOS, Android and API access. Allergen, nutrition and carbon-footprint data add value for menu and compliance-oriented workflows. AI features are part of the product, although several are described as early-access or coming soon. Choose FoodNotify when connected purchasing, recipes and inventory across locations matter; choose a simpler specialist tool if the scope or starting cost is more than needed.
