FloorDrafter is an AI floor plan generator for homeowners, landlords, real estate agents, contractors, and small design practices. It accepts text descriptions, sketches, images, and existing floor plans, then produces editable 2D or 3D layouts. Users can work with rendered, technical, colour, 2.5D, and 3D styles, while room labels, dimension lines, measurement tools, and area calculations support more detailed planning. An AI agent can also make changes while retaining project requirements in context.
The freemium structure gives users a Free plan with signup credits, daily check-in credits, 2K resolution, and watermarked PNG downloads. Pro costs $12 per month or $144 per year and includes 150 credits per month, 4K ultra-high resolution, DXF/CAD vector export, a commercial license, priority generation, and no watermark. Studio costs $24 per month or $288 per year, adds 400 credits per month, and includes the Pro features plus highest-priority generation and priority email support with a 24-hour response. The annual plans preserve the same monthly credit allowances and feature sets as their monthly counterparts.
Its platform coverage is broad for a floor planning tool: FloorDrafter is available on the web, iOS, Android, and through an API. That makes it suitable for users who want to move between devices or connect floor plan generation with other software workflows. The main distinction between the free and paid experience is output and usage: the Free plan supports early exploration, while Pro is the practical choice for high-resolution files, commercial work, and CAD-oriented workflows. Studio fits heavier recurring generation needs. Choose another tool if you need a plan without credit-based usage or if watermarked PNG output meets your requirements and paid export is unnecessary.
