FlipSide is a cloud and mobile gym-management platform for cheer, gymnastics, tumbling and related activity programs. It suits small and mid-market gyms that need one system for recurring classes, family registration, billing, attendance, athlete progress, staff administration and communications. Families get a portal for schedules, invoices, payment methods, autopay, staff messaging and progress reports, while operators can manage competitions, private lessons, merchandise and multiple locations.
The published plans show a paid model with Starter, Growth and Pro tiers, each including all features. Starter and Growth apply a 1% platform fee, while Pro lists a 0% platform fee and supports additional locations for $199 per month each. SMS is billed per use across the plans. A 14-day free trial is available without requiring a card. This structure keeps the feature set consistent by tier, with the clearest paid-tier distinction being platform fees and multi-location support rather than feature gating.
For day-to-day operations, FlipSide brings together recurring scheduling, instructor assignments, capacity limits, waitlists, makeup credits, attendance reporting, skill charts, coach logging, staff time and certification tracking, role-based permissions, automated invoicing and payment-plan administration. It supports card, ACH and cash/check tracking, plus competition registration and payment management. The platform runs on web, iOS and Android, and integrates with YouTube, Stripe Terminal, Gusto and ADP. Gyms seeking broad class and family workflows should find the scope aligned; organizations that require support channels beyond email or prefer a narrower scheduling-only tool may want a different fit.
