FlameCord review
A focused paid proxy for BungeeCord networks that need anti-bot and routing controls.

FlameCord is a self-hosted Minecraft server proxy based on BungeeCord. It connects players to backend servers such as Spigot and Paper while adding controls for abusive connections and network traffic. Its audience is Minecraft server owners and networks that need centralized routing, BungeeCord plugin compatibility, and protection features managed within their own deployment. Windows and Linux are supported, and the product is positioned for networks that want more than basic player forwarding.
Protection and traffic management are the product’s clearest focus. FlameCord includes anti-bot connection checks, IPTables firewall integration, country filtering, connection and ping rate limiting, and proxy and VPN detection. These controls address several parts of connection filtering without requiring the proxy to be limited to a single defensive mechanism. Maintenance mode with a whitelist supports restricted access during operational changes, while Libdeflate packet compression adds another network-oriented feature. For networks that need application-layer controls alongside firewall integration, this is a concentrated feature set.
Routing and ecosystem fit make FlameCord more practical for multi-server networks. Fallback server routing can direct players when a backend is unavailable, and backend server balancing supports distribution across connected servers. Integrations include ViaVersion, Geyser, BungeeGuard, and AuthMeBungee, while the published compatibility target is BungeeCord. That focus is a strength for operators already using that proxy ecosystem, but it also narrows the fit for networks seeking a different proxy foundation. Choose FlameCord when self-hosting, centralized routing, and anti-bot controls are priorities; choose an alternative if you need a free plan or a proxy platform outside BungeeCord.
