FitManager Control is the Windows access-control component of the FitManager platform. It connects gym entry hardware with membership and access permissions, reading RFID cards, checking membership status, and activating door relays. QR-code entry, multiple access points, self-service kiosk hardware, and Windows service mode make it a fit for gyms that operate physical readers and want access control connected to their membership system.

According to FitManager's pricing page, the platform is paid per gym and starts at 39, with a 14-day free trial. Starter covers one gym location, up to 200 members, member management, QR access control, and email support. Pro supports up to three locations and adds unlimited members, POS and payments, SMS notifications, reports and analytics, and priority support. Enterprise adds unlimited locations and members, a custom domain, dedicated onboarding, SLA and phone support, and white-label options. Control is presented as part of the broader platform rather than as a separate license.

Its strongest fit is a hardware-based deployment. Supported integrations include Wiegand RFID readers, Wiegand-to-USB converters, USB relay boards, Synergy fiscal printers, and David fiscal printers. A local offline membership cache can support access checks when connectivity is unavailable, while automatic updates and continuous Windows service operation suit installations intended to run at the door. The trade-off is platform scope: FitManager Control is limited to Windows and API access, with no verified mobile credentials or schedules. Gyms already using FitManager and physical readers should find the feature set aligned with that setup; organizations prioritizing mobile entry, scheduling controls, or a non-Windows environment should consider an alternative.

FitManager Control pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • Supports RFID cards, QR entry, and real-time membership checks
    • Local offline cache supports continued access validation
    • Works with multiple doors, kiosks, relays, and fiscal printers
  • Where it doesn't
    • Windows and API support limit platform flexibility
    • No verified mobile credentials or access schedules
    • Starter supports one location and up to 200 members
