A configurable real-time core with APIs, payments and multi-entity processing for modern banking programs.

Fiserv Finxact is a cloud-native core banking platform for large financial institutions, community institutions, fintechs and commerce brands. It provides a system of record and transaction-processing engine for organizations modernizing legacy core infrastructure or launching digital banking and embedded-finance products. The platform covers deposits, loans, multi-asset positions, payment rails and connections to Fiserv services, with web and API access. Banks looking for programmable real-time processing and configurable product infrastructure are the clearest fit.
The platform’s technical depth is its main differentiator. Real-time transaction processing and posting are paired with RESTful APIs that provide CRUDL access to customer and transaction data, while an event-driven microservice architecture supports a modular operating model. Business rules can be configured with a TypeScript-like domain-specific language. Finxact also supports multi-position and multi-asset accounts, deposit and loan product configuration, and loan servicing for fixed, variable, revolving and non-revolving loans. These capabilities suit institutions that need to model varied banking products rather than operate a narrow account-processing service.
Payment and ecosystem coverage extends the core beyond deposits and lending. Finxact supports ACH, RTP, wire, check and debit-card payment processing, with integrations including the Fiserv product suite, Fiserv Developer Studio, Fedwire and Fiserv EPOC Card Processing. Multi-bank processing and multi-entity support are relevant for organizations operating across multiple legal entities, while regulatory reporting and cloud deployment are included in its category capabilities. The trade-off is that this is a substantial platform rather than a simple banking utility, and pricing follows a contact-sales model. Choose Finxact for programmable core modernization, complex product configuration and integrated payment operations; consider a narrower alternative if those requirements are not central.
