Finatic review
Sandboxed multi-broker API for building trading and portfolio products.
Reviewed by iTechGuides Editors · Editorial team · Updated Oct 2026
Finatic provides a cloud brokerage API for fintech and financial-product teams building portfolio, trading, wealth, RIA, reporting, risk, or operations products. Applications can connect users’ brokerage accounts through a branded authorization portal, then access standardized accounts, positions, orders, and balances or submit trades through a common interface. OAuth, API-key, token, and broker-hosted authorization methods support different connection models. A sandbox with generated brokerage data gives teams a development environment before live brokerage connectivity.
The Free plan is lifetime and includes live positions, orders, balances, and trading workflows, webhook delivery, up to five connected users, one connection per user, and 1,000 API calls per month. Enterprise adds volume pricing and committed-use discounts, unlimited connections under custom rate limits, dedicated support from Finatic’s integration team, roadmap input, and early access. Enterprise pricing is custom and billed monthly, so teams should match expected connection and call volume to the plan structure before committing to a production rollout.
Finatic’s ecosystem covers Alpaca, Interactive Brokers, Robinhood, Webull, tastytrade, TradeStation, NinjaTrader, and eToro, alongside an institution catalog with coverage and trading metadata. Webhooks notify applications about account, sync, and order events, while the TypeScript and Python SDKs can reduce client-side integration work. The product is a fit for teams that want one API surface and a sandbox for multi-broker prototyping. Teams needing broader included usage on a free tier, support beyond documentation, or a publicly specified enterprise price should evaluate alternatives before selecting it.
