finAPI provides open banking and open finance software for businesses, banks and financial service providers. Its Access banking API connects private and business accounts and retrieves data from checking, savings, credit-card, securities, loan and other accounts. The platform also supports payment initiation, including transfers, instant payments and direct debits, making it a fit for financial products that need both account information and payment capabilities. It is available through web and API interfaces.

Pricing starts at €60 per month, billed monthly, for Access B2C, a basic licence for up to 200 users that connects private accounts. Access B2X costs €100 per month, billed monthly, and connects private and business accounts for up to 200 users. A 30-day trial is available, and the published pricing excludes VAT. These plans provide a straightforward entry point for smaller deployments, while the B2X tier is the relevant choice when business-account connectivity is required.

Connectivity is finAPI’s clearest differentiator. Access combines PSD2 XS2A, FinTS/HBCI, web scraping and financial-service-provider APIs, including PayPal, with automatic background updates and push notifications. It also detects duplicate transactions and can generate signed digital bank-statement PDFs. The wider offering includes a Web Form, PSD2 licensing support, developer documentation and an XS2A server for banks and third-party providers. Choose finAPI when European aggregation, multiple connection routes and payment initiation matter more than a free entry tier. Organisations needing private accounts only can start with Access B2C; those handling business accounts should consider Access B2X.
