Fieldmotion is cloud-based field service management software for trades and service-maintenance teams managing mobile workforces. It brings together job management, dispatch, scheduling, customer and site records, digital forms, asset and stock tracking, quoting, invoicing, planned maintenance, reporting, and a customer portal. Its web, iOS, and Android apps support offline forms, photos, signatures, parts logging, and job updates, making it suited to teams that need office and field operations in one system.

The published plans show three monthly tiers, with pricing based on a 36-month contract and at least 3 user licences. Core costs $50 per user per month and includes job management, scheduling, recurring scheduling and invoicing, mobile apps, quoting and invoicing, and custom forms. Plus costs $55 and adds the customer portal, purchase orders, enhanced reports, Xero, QuickBooks, and Stripe integrations. Pro costs $60 and adds Smart Scheduler and Power BI reports integration. This structure keeps the main workflow in Core while reserving customer access, selected finance connections, and advanced reporting for higher tiers.

Fieldmotion’s breadth is its main differentiator. Teams can move from scheduling a job to recording field work, tracking parts and assets, completing recurring maintenance, producing an invoice, and sharing documents through the portal. Scheduling supports drag-and-drop planning around engineer availability, skills, and location, while reports, dashboards, CSV exports, and a REST API extend the operational toolkit. The trade-off is cost: the entry tier is higher than some transparent alternatives, and several integrations and advanced scheduling features require paid upgrades. Choose Fieldmotion when configurable workflows and wide coverage matter more than the lowest starting price; smaller teams seeking a narrower, lower-cost scheduler may prefer an alternative.
