Our verdict on FayEDU
FayEDU combines an AI-assisted course builder, course marketplace and learning management system for African educators, teachers, trainers and subject-matter experts. It supports lesson, quiz and image creation, learner progress tracking, certificates, analytics and course sales. Local payment support includes M-Pesa, bank transfer and cards, giving educators a direct route to accepting payments while publishing courses for learners.
The freemium structure makes it possible to start without a subscription. The Free plan includes 2 courses, 50K AI tokens per month, 1 marketplace listing, a teacher profile page and community access. Basic costs $21 per month on monthly billing or $17 per month on annual billing, adding 10 courses, unlimited marketplace listings, full analytics, SCORM 2004, Web Package and PDF exports, plus priority email support. Pro costs $59 per month monthly or $47 per month annually, with unlimited courses, revenue analytics, all export formats, custom branding on exports and priority support. The paid tiers are most relevant to educators who need broader publishing, reporting or export capacity.
FayEDU fits educators who want marketplace distribution and payment options suited to African audiences, while its exports can support delivery beyond the platform. Listed integrations include Moodle, Canvas, Google Classroom, Microsoft Teams, Blackboard and Paystack. The trade-off is a web-only platform with a focused feature set and a small integration ecosystem compared with broader course platforms. Choose FayEDU for local payment support, AI-assisted creation and straightforward course selling; consider an alternative if native mobile apps, extensive integrations or a wider set of advanced learning-management features are central requirements.
