FaxExtension is an online fax service for individuals and businesses that send and receive faxes through a web browser or mobile apps. It supports inbound and outbound faxing, domestic and international delivery, document and photo attachments, online cover pages, signing, editing, form filling, and storage of received faxes in its online portal. The Free plan includes a fax extension number, 5 outbound fax pages, and 50 inbound fax pages, making it suited to occasional faxing and mobile users who need basic access.
Its plan structure centers on page allowances and fax-number options. The Weekly plan adds a dedicated fax number and provides 10 outbound and 100 inbound pages. The Monthly plan includes the same number options with 25 outbound and 250 inbound pages. The Yearly plan increases the allowance to 500 outbound and 5,000 inbound pages, while also including a fax extension number and dedicated fax number. International faxing is available, with international pages handled according to a separate price list.
For document-heavy workflows, FaxExtension combines attachments from documents, photos, and scans with online editing, signing, and form filling. OCR-based full-text search can help locate received faxes, while status tracking and delivery confirmations provide visibility after sending. Access is available on the web, iOS, and Android. The service is a practical fit for users who value mobile access, occasional faxing, and built-in document tools. Businesses needing broader integrations or a more specialized workflow may prefer an alternative, since integrations are not part of the listed feature set.
