Fanatec App is free Windows software for configuring Fanatec sim-racing equipment. It is aimed at drivers who want one application for wheel bases, steering wheels, pedals, shifters, and handbrakes. The app brings together hardware settings, performance tuning, input testing, firmware updates, telemetry display configuration, custom RGB LED and RevLED profiles, game launching, and profiles for individual titles or cars. Fanatec launched it in 2025 as the successor to its Control Panel and FanaLab software, under Corsair GmbH, headquartered in Munich, Germany.
Its main strength is the breadth of tuning and organization within the Fanatec ecosystem. Drivers can adjust hardware behavior, check inputs, keep firmware current, configure telemetry displays, and save title- or car-specific settings. Lighting control adds custom RGB LED and RevLED profiles, while game launch integration keeps supported titles connected to the configuration workflow. Elgato Stream Deck integration is another practical fit for users who want quick access to controls or profiles from a dedicated interface. These features make the app a strong match for sim-racing setups that include several Fanatec components.
The trade-off is platform and ecosystem focus. Fanatec App supports Windows only, so it does not fit users who need macOS or another operating system. It is also designed around Fanatec hardware rather than serving as a general peripheral utility for mixed-brand setups. Choose it if your racing equipment is primarily Fanatec and you want centralized tuning, updates, telemetry, lighting, and profiles at no software cost. Consider another tool if cross-platform support or broader hardware compatibility matters more than deep Fanatec-specific control.
Fanatec App pros and cons

- Adds game launching and Elgato Stream Deck integration
- Where it doesn't
- Windows only, with no support for macOS or other operating systems
- Focused on Fanatec hardware rather than broader peripheral ecosystems
- Launched in 2025, so its role replaces older Fanatec software tools
