FahiPay is a digital wallet from FahiPay Pvt Ltd, headquartered in the Maldives, for personal and business payments. Its Android and iOS apps handle prepaid mobile reloads, postpaid mobile and internet bills, utility and council payments, ferry tickets, gift cards, game credits, donations, scheduled payments, QR purchases at participating merchants, and transfers between FahiPay users. English and Dhivehi interfaces make it suited to local users, while merchant payment links, QR acceptance, and APIs extend the service to businesses.
The app is listed as free for users. The vendor’s website separately states a 1% merchant transaction fee, applying to merchant activity rather than presenting a consumer subscription plan. For businesses, Merchant APIs and a Wallet API provide integration paths, and the deployment model spans mobile and cloud. That combination gives small and mid-market merchants options beyond the consumer wallet, especially when payment links or QR acceptance fit their checkout flow.
FahiPay’s breadth is its main strength, but its usefulness depends on local coverage. QR purchases require participating merchants, and peer transfers stay within the FahiPay user network. The bill-pay catalog and ferry-ticket support are valuable for Maldives-focused households, while the same local orientation may make the product less suitable for users whose payments, merchants, or contacts sit elsewhere. Support is available by email, phone, chat, and documentation, with 24/7 support stated by the vendor. Choose FahiPay when local bills, reloads, QR payments, and scheduled transactions belong in one wallet; consider another service if you need a broader international payment network.
