eZCom EDI, also called Lingo, is a cloud-based EDI and order-processing platform for suppliers working with retail trading partners. It supports X12 and EDIFACT standards, common retail documents such as purchase orders, invoices, inventory updates, and advance ship notices, plus document validation, retailer mapping, batch processing, shipping labels, and reporting. It is aimed at companies new to EDI, larger brands, and organizations that need managed trading-partner integrations.

The published plans show a progression from core compliance to broader automation. EDI Compliance covers retailer orders, shipping information, GS1 labels, bulk order processing, and automated data transfer. EDI Enhanced adds direct-to-consumer order automation, global trading-partner connections, 3PL connections, inventory automation, reporting, and multiple label options. EDI Enterprise adds ERP integration, a dedicated specialist, pre-built or custom integrations, API access, FTP automation, and expert support. Pricing is described as flat-rate monthly and requires contacting sales, so buyers should request a plan-specific quote before comparing total cost.

Integration breadth is a central strength. Lingo supports ERP, accounting, inventory, WMS, 3PL, ecommerce, marketplace, and shipping connections, including QuickBooks, NetSuite, FedEx, UPS, and USPS. Connectivity options include VAN, API, FTP, SFTP, webhooks, XML, CSV, and flat files, while partner setup, testing assistance, training, and support address the operational work around onboarding. Choose Lingo if retail compliance, partner coordination, labels, and multi-system order flows are priorities. A smaller operation with a single partner or limited document volume may prefer a narrower EDI service with fewer configuration layers.

eZCom EDI (Lingo) pros and cons

    • Automates batch processing, inventory updates, labels, and reporting
    • Connects ERP, WMS, 3PL, ecommerce, shipping, and accounting systems
  • Where it doesn't
    • Pricing requires a sales conversation rather than public plan rates
    • Advanced capabilities are divided across separate paid tiers
    • The feature set may exceed the needs of narrow EDI workflows
