Our verdict on ExtractFox

ExtractFox is a cloud-based PDF data extraction tool for individuals and small teams who need tables, line items, totals, or common document fields in structured formats. It works with PDFs, scans, and images, using built-in OCR for image-only documents. Users can choose a prebuilt schema for documents such as invoices, receipts, passports, bank statements, contracts, and resumes, or describe the fields they want in natural language. Results can be exported as Excel, CSV, or JSON.

The published plans start with Free, which includes five extractions each month with an account, two extractions without signing up, and the three export formats. Starter costs $9 per month for 100 extractions. Pro costs $19 per month for 300 extractions, uploads of up to 25 files at once, up to three parallel extractions, and email support. A $5 one-time pack provides 50 extractions, with credits that do not expire. This gives occasional users a no-cost way to try the workflow and offers a one-time purchase for users who do not want a monthly plan.
