ExpoGenie review
A package-sales and event-fulfillment platform with lead scanning as an added feature.

ExpoGenie helps associations, professional societies, event management companies, and conference organizers manage event inventory, sales, payments, requirements, and reporting. Its scope also includes lead scanning through iOS and Android apps. The product is aimed at operators handling booth sales and event fulfillment, rather than teams seeking a dedicated lead-capture workflow as their main tool. It is available on web and mobile, and is positioned for individual events or multi-event portfolios.
The plans are priced per event per year, with the published starting price varying by combined exhibitor and package count. Launch costs $1,500 and includes an interactive real-time floor plan, a website embed, and custom branding. Grow costs $3,500 and adds task management, booth staff registration, self-selection and queue-based booth selection, reports, and dashboards. Scale costs $5,000 and adds online booth sales, registration, an online shop, payment and pricing options, and exhibitor applications and approvals. Launch is free only for the first event with 100 booths or fewer, so it is not a permanent free plan.
Sales and fulfillment are the product's clearest strengths: it handles package inventory, portals for requirements and asset uploads, invoices and balances, automated task assignment and reminders, plus reports and exports. Integrations include AMS and membership systems, event management, accounting, payment processors, CRM systems, Zapier, Swoogo, and Google Sheets. AI prospect discovery and a revenue-insights chatbot are also listed. Choose ExpoGenie when event sales and delivery tracking are central, and lead scanning is useful alongside them. Teams primarily seeking detailed lead-capture workflows should compare alternatives, since that workflow is not described as the platform's focus.
ExpoGenie pros and cons
- Where it wins
- Manages package pricing, add-ons, inventory, and online sales
- Tracks invoices, payments, deadlines, and fulfillment tasks
- Includes iOS and Android lead scanning apps
- Where it doesn't
- Starts at $1,500 per event per year
- Lead scanning is an additional feature, not the core workflow
- Higher tiers are needed for online booth sales and exhibitor approvals
