Evidian Authenticator is a mobile authentication client for organizations using Evidian Web Access Manager. It combines push authentication with offline QRentry authentication through challenged QR codes, while also generating HOTP and TOTP one-time passwords for web applications. QR-code scanning supports account enrollment, and the app is available for iOS and Android. Its focus is clear: protect mobile access for teams already working within Evidian’s identity and access environment.

Authentication coverage is the product’s main strength. Push approvals support Evidian Web Access Manager, while QRentry provides an offline option when an internet connection is not part of the authentication flow. HOTP and TOTP generation broadens its use across supported web applications. Account protection includes application PINs and biometrics, and supported Android devices can use NFC-based application protection. A history of account and key usage adds visibility into activity within the app.

Migration and account handling are also well covered for a mobile client. HOTP/TOTP accounts can be exported and imported in several formats, including AES256-encrypted JSON, giving administrators and users a protected way to move enrolled accounts. The app is free and suited to organizations that already use Evidian Web Access Manager or need a mobile HOTP/TOTP authenticator with QR enrollment and protected key storage. Organizations seeking a broader desktop-and-mobile authenticator, or push authentication independent of Evidian’s access manager, should consider a different product.
