Eventifood is browser-based ordering and kitchen-management software for UK food vans, food trucks, street-food traders, festival caterers and market stalls. Customers scan a QR code, browse menus, customise orders and pay by phone, while caterers receive orders on a live kitchen display. The platform runs on existing computers, tablets and Raspberry Pi devices rather than requiring dedicated POS hardware. It supports web, Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android, making it suitable for mobile catering teams working across different event setups.

Its strongest area is the flow from customer order to kitchen fulfilment. Caterers can manage menus, items, modifiers and variations, create event-specific menus with separate pricing and branding, and print menus with item QR codes. A live kitchen board shows order status stages, while customer readiness notifications help communicate when orders are ready. Inventory management and automatic sold-out controls add practical support during busy service. Card, PayPal and Stripe payments are supported, with SumUp also listed among the integrations.

Pricing includes free access, with the Eventifood Basic Plan listed at £30 per month and the Eventifood Pro Plan at £59.96 per month. The Basic Plan includes an ordering page, QR code, live kitchen board, menu management, email order confirmations, sales analytics and profit-and-loss tracking. The Pro Plan adds inventory management to the listed ordering and kitchen features. Pro PAYG and Basic PAYG plans are also shown, with the mobile-catering offer highlighting 2% PAYG pricing. Eventifood suits caterers who need digital ordering and service control more than full event administration; teams needing proposals, staffing or CRM should choose a broader system.

Eventifood pros and cons

  • Where it wins
    • QR ordering lets customers browse, customise and pay by phone.
    • Live kitchen stages help staff track order progress.
    • Event menus support separate pricing and branding for each event.
  • Where it doesn't
    • It does not cover proposals, staffing or CRM workflows.
    • Broader event administration is outside its main focus.
    • Some plan and PAYG pricing requires careful configuration review.
