EspressoDesk is a business helpdesk for small and growing support teams that want to manage email tickets, website conversations and selected messaging channels in one workspace. Its shared inbox converts connected mailbox messages into tickets, while the embeddable chat widget can fall back to email after two minutes. The product also includes a knowledge base, branded customer portal, ticket workflows, reporting and AI-assisted replies, making it a better fit for email-centered support desks than teams seeking a chat-only tool.

The plans separate core ticket management from live chat and AI automation. Starter costs $29 per month, includes five agents and 500 new tickets per month, and provides the shared inbox, knowledge base and customer portal; human live-agent chat is not included. Pro costs $129 per month, includes 12 agents and 2,500 new tickets per month, and adds the human live-chat widget, round-robin routing, SLA policies, business hours and 250 AI requests per month. Scale costs $349 per month, includes 25 agents and 10,000 new tickets per month, and adds an AI 24/7 live chatbot, AI auto-deflection, WhatsApp and CSAT surveys. A 14-day free trial is available.

EspressoDesk covers web, Windows, macOS and Linux, and connects with email through IMAP/SMTP or Google Workspace, plus Slack, Jira, Trello, WhatsApp Business, Telegram, AnyDesk and TeamViewer. Its AI chatbot is grounded in published knowledge-base articles and supports human handoff, while reply drafting, thread summaries and tone rewriting assist agents. The product should suit teams that want ticket workflows and self-service around a shared inbox. Teams that need human chat on the entry plan, broader platform or integration coverage, or an available public API and webhooks should consider alternatives.
