EMPOS review
An integrated restaurant suite with AI menu engineering, but menu analysis is not its sole focus.

EMPOS is restaurant operations software for owners, managers, servers, kitchen teams and franchisors. It combines POS billing for counter, tableside, QR, online and phone orders with QR table ordering, AI menu chat, recipe-linked inventory, purchase-order workflows, kitchen display tools, staff operations, guest engagement and reporting. Its menu engineering classifies items by margin and popularity, while profitability analysis, item performance and menu pricing analysis support decisions about the menu.
The platform’s breadth is its central strength. Restaurants can connect ordering and payments with Razorpay, Stripe, Adyen, Square, PayPal, Paytm, PhonePe and Cashfree, while delivery connections include Zomato, Swiggy, Uber Eats and DoorDash. Accounting integrations include QuickBooks, Xero and Tally Prime. Kitchen display routing, elapsed-time indicators, inventory deduction, staff scheduling, attendance and task management extend the product beyond menu analysis. Multi-outlet management and comparative reporting make the suite relevant to operators coordinating more than one location.
AI features also include dynamic pricing recommendations based on demand, cost and competitor signals, natural-language reporting, revenue anomaly detection, upsell suggestions, guest segmentation and server coaching. The published commercial model is contact sales, with terms depending on requirements and a demo request for next steps. EMPOS suits restaurants that want menu decisions connected to POS, operations, delivery, payments and inventory. A narrower menu-engineering product may be a better fit for teams that need dedicated menu analysis without adopting a broader restaurant operations suite.
