Employment Hero is a cloud-based employment platform for small and midsize businesses as well as larger organisations. It brings together employee records, digital files, leave management, onboarding, compliance tools, performance management, recruitment, engagement, payroll and workforce services. Employees can access work administration, timesheets, payslips, leave requests and benefits through the Employment Hero Work app. It suits teams looking to consolidate several HR functions rather than adopt a narrow tool for one task.

The plan structure expands from core HR into broader workforce management. HR Essentials covers leave management, employee records, document management, onboarding and offboarding, and policies and compliance tools. HR Engage adds recruitment, expenses, performance management and learning management. HR Elite adds talent development, advanced analytics and reporting, workflows, plus advanced customisations, security and integration. Employment Unlimited adds payroll, an employee assistance program, HR advisory and team chat. A free plan is available, while paid plan costs are subject to minimum-user and other conditions.

Its ecosystem is a strong fit for organisations already working across finance, workforce, recruitment, learning and productivity applications. Listed integrations include Xero, QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, MYOB AccountRight Payroll, Deputy, Tanda, Square, Indeed, LinkedIn, Go1, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack and Power BI. API access, mobile apps and AI recruitment and HR agents extend the platform beyond its core records and administration features. Choose Employment Hero when breadth and connected HR operations matter; choose a narrower specialist product if you only need one focused function or want time and attendance included without an upgrade or add-on.
