Elders Weather combines a weather app and website for people who want Australian conditions, forecasts and map-based information across web, iOS and Android. It covers more than 2,000 Australian locations and selected international locations. The free offering includes current conditions, observations, a 7-day forecast, a 48-hour hourly or 3-hourly outlook, weather warnings, radar, satellite imagery, synoptic charts, rain forecast maps and push notifications. Users can save up to 10 locations, making it practical for tracking several places without paying for a subscription.

Maps and forecast detail are the product’s clearest strengths. Radar maps cover local and national views and include play, pause and zoom controls; satellite imagery and synoptic charts provide additional ways to follow conditions. The app also offers weather warnings and notifications for weather parameters. Elders says its service uses Bureau of Meteorology data and Weatherzone meteorologists. This breadth is relevant to people who prefer to interpret conditions through maps as well as forecast summaries, and the combination of web and mobile access supports checking in from different devices.

Silver is aimed at users who need more notification control or longer rain outlooks. Its additions include advanced push notifications, 28-day rain forecasts, 12-month district rain forecasts, longer observation history, extra radar layers and lightning information. According to the vendor’s app page, Silver costs $2.99 per year; Google Play specifies AUD$2.99. The 12-month horizon applies to district rain forecasts, not general daily forecasts. Those paid features may suit users monitoring rainfall or wanting added radar context, while occasional forecasters can start with the free tier. People seeking a broad international location focus or an extended general daily forecast should look for another fit.
