EasyEats is a point-of-sale platform for food trucks, restaurants, caterers, and other mobile food operators. Its strongest fit is food trucks that need more than counter sales: the platform combines payment processing, online pre-ordering, scheduled orders, kitchen queue management, menu customization, customer notifications, location scheduling, and tax profiles for multiple jurisdictions and events. The POS app runs on Android tablets, while the Kitchen Display System runs in a web browser. Web and Android access support a mixed operating setup across the service counter and kitchen.
Pricing is structured around two paid options. Pay As You Go includes full platform access, no monthly minimum, and no annual commitment, with the platform fee based on transaction volume rather than a fixed per-user amount. Annual Contract costs $90 per month, includes unlimited transactions and a flat monthly cost, and provides full platform access. A free demo account is available for evaluating the product before adoption. Payment processing is provided through supported processors, including Fiserv, First Nationwide Payments, and SumUp.
The product stands out when event operations, changing locations, and scheduled orders are central to the business. Location scheduling and food-truck finder visibility address mobile service patterns, while event tax profiles and reporting with Excel export support administrative work across venues and jurisdictions. The tradeoff is that Pay As You Go makes recurring cost harder to estimate without transaction volume, while the annual option adds a commitment. Food trucks needing these specialized workflows should consider EasyEats; operators seeking a simpler fixed-cost checkout tool or a narrower ordering system may prefer an alternative.
