Dungeon Architect review
A paid toolkit for building rule-driven, replayable dungeons and game environments.

Dungeon Architect is a paid procedural level-generation plugin for Unreal Engine and Unity. It is designed for game developers creating replayable or rule-driven environments, including grid-based dungeons, flow-graph layouts, city spaces, 2D game samples and other structured levels. Developers can define layout rules, apply custom meshes and prefabs through themes, and combine generated sections with handcrafted rooms.
Its main strength is the breadth of its generation workflow. Node-based flow graphs support layout design, while the theme engine maps meshes, blueprints, lights and NPCs onto generated spaces. Handcrafted room stitching uses graph-grammar rules, giving teams a way to combine authored content with procedural assembly. Seed-based randomization supports repeatable layouts, and runtime dungeon building extends generation beyond editor workflows. The Launch Pad adds sample scenes and templates for starting projects.
Engine fit is a major consideration. The toolkit supports Unity and Unreal Engine, with builders covering Grid, Snap Map, Snap Grid Flow, City and Cell Flow workflows. Unreal projects also get GPU voxel caves and floating-island generation. Runtime multiplayer seed synchronization is relevant for games that need clients to reproduce the same generated layout. Choose Dungeon Architect if your project needs specialized dungeon and level-generation systems across Unity or Unreal, particularly with custom assets, repeatable seeds and multiple builder types. It is less suitable for users seeking a free tool or a general-purpose map generator outside game development.
