Our verdict on Drum Pads 24

Drum Pads 24 is a mobile beat-making and music-creation app from Beat Squad LLC for beginners, beatmakers, and performers. Available on iOS and Android, it centers on 24 touch pads arranged across two scenes, with curated loops, samples, sound packs, a step sequencer, and a pattern editor. Users can record vocals or instruments, import audio files, edit clips, create videos, and share sound packs through a community feed. Its feature set suits creators who want to sketch beats, perform with pads, and publish work from a mobile device.

The strongest case for Drum Pads 24 is the breadth of its mobile toolkit. The Pad Editor supports custom sound packs, while audio effects cover pitch, reverb, delay, EQ, distortion, and filters. MIDI device connection and control mapping extend the app beyond touch input. AI-powered search and sound classification add another way to navigate its sound library. Sharing connections with SoundCloud, YouTube, and Instagram support a workflow that moves from beat creation to social publishing without changing the product's mobile focus.

Drum Pads 24 uses a freemium model with a free plan, while the official App Store listing shows Premium subscriptions and coin purchases. The listing does not state billing periods, and regional pricing may vary. That structure makes the free version a practical starting point for mobile creators, but ongoing access to paid options should be considered before committing to the wider feature set. Choose Drum Pads 24 if mobile pads, effects, sample import, MIDI control, and social sharing are central to your workflow. Choose another tool if desktop production is essential or if you need a broader studio environment than its mobile platform focus provides.
