Dregora review
A free OTG preset for varied overworlds on supported older Minecraft versions.

Dregora Remastered is a standalone preset for Open Terrain Generator (OTG) that changes Minecraft overworld generation. It targets players on its listed older Minecraft versions who want varied terrain rather than a familiar default landscape. Worlds vary by seed, and the preset combines procedural terrain with designed regions, custom biomes, objects, and structures. Its scope is the overworld, not dimension generation, so it suits players looking to change exploration in that dimension rather than add generation across dimensions.
The main draw is breadth within that overworld focus: Dregora includes more than 600 custom biomes, as well as dungeons, villages, cities, and other custom objects and structures. Hand-crafted map sections can generate within the procedural terrain, giving the preset authored areas alongside seed-dependent landscapes. The project page says it is compatible with mods that add structures or dimensions. Dregora O Plenty is a separate standalone preset intended for Biomes O’ Plenty; it should not be confused with Remastered. RLCraft Dregora is a separate full modpack, not this preset.
Dregora is free, but it is not a self-contained option: it works with OTG. The Remastered project page lists Minecraft 1.12.2, 1.16.4, and 1.16.5 with Forge, and notes known issues for the 1.12.2 and 1.16.5 releases. That makes version compatibility the key decision point. Players already on one of the listed versions and comfortable with OTG may find its extensive biome and structure variety worthwhile; players on other versions, or seeking a preset that does not depend on OTG, should look elsewhere.
