Draftris review
A guided essay workspace with useful structure, but a costly Pro tier.

Draftris is an AI-assisted writing workspace for students working on structured academic assignments. It helps organize prompts, build outlines, generate draft content, manage citation styles, and save work automatically. Its templates cover persuasive essays, research summaries, compare-and-contrast essays, and lab reflections, while tone presets include analytical, persuasive, and narrative options. Students should review and personalize generated work and follow their institution’s academic-integrity policies.
The free plan includes a smart outline builder, APA and MLA citations, and email support. Pro costs $33.99 per month and adds unlimited drafts, 200M+ research sources, DOCX and PDF exports, and email support. Unlimited costs $39 per month and adds team and faculty seats, a shared research library, live chat 24/7, and AI presentation decks in beta. That plan is marked Upcoming, so the practical paid choice is Pro. The monthly price makes Draftris more suitable for students who expect to use its drafting and export tools regularly than for occasional assignments.
Its strongest fit is template-driven writing where a clear outline, citation-style control, autosave, and document export matter. The structured workspace can help users move from a prompt to headings, bullet lists, and a draft without leaving the same web application. However, Draftris remains focused on essay production rather than a broad academic research environment, and generated content still requires review and personalization. Choose it for guided drafting and organized assignment workflows; consider an alternative if you need a non-web platform or prefer a lower-cost paid tier.
