Doodle is a freemium drawing and painting app for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Vision devices. It suits casual sketchers, lettering enthusiasts, travel journalers, students, educators and families who want a straightforward canvas for illustrations, notes, brainstorming or children’s creative projects. Its toolset includes pencil, pen, monoline, marker, fountain pen, watercolor and crayon brushes, along with selection and eraser tools. Apple Pencil support adds precision for drawing and lettering, while support for more than 30 languages includes right-to-left languages.

The free download provides a way to start drawing without a subscription. According to the published App Store pricing, Doodle Pro Monthly starts at 2.99 USD per month, while Doodle Pro Yearly is also available. Both paid plans list Doodle Pro features as their included benefit, so the choice is primarily between monthly and yearly billing.
