Do-io is a CPA-designed federal tax calculator for tax professionals who need straightforward estimates rather than complete tax-return preparation. It works in a web browser, through a Chrome extension, or as an embedded calculator on a firm website. Its core coverage includes federal tax estimation from common federal tax-return items, extension-payment estimation, PDF report printing, conservative projections, and client self-service calculations. Custom firm branding is available on the Custom Plan.

Pricing is split between annual access and short-term tools. The Standard Plan costs $249 per user per year and provides access for the selected tax year through April 30 of the following year, with standard branding. The Custom Plan costs $349 per user per year and adds custom firm branding. The Do-io One-Week Plan costs $25 as a one-time purchase, provides federal tax calculator access for 7 days, requires no subscription, and is limited to the 2026 version. Wage Wizard is separate: its one-week plan costs $10 and its annual plan costs $59 per user per year. Wage Wizard projects wages and withholdings from paystub data.

The product fits firms that want a focused estimation tool with client-facing distribution options and printable output. Website embedding and branding make it suitable for firms offering self-service calculations under their own identity, while the Chrome extension adds another access route. Its boundary is equally clear: Do-io is not positioned for complete return preparation or complex, side-by-side scenario modeling. Tax professionals needing quick federal estimates, extension-payment figures, or paystub projections should consider it; firms requiring verified multi-year planning or deeper scenario analysis should choose more specialized software instead.
