Divvy review
A mobile-first bill splitter with receipt scanning, Smart Settle and payment requests.

Divvy is a mobile bill-splitting app for friends, roommates, couples, travelers and colleagues. On iOS and Android, users can create expense groups, invite participants, record shared costs and divide them evenly, by assigned amounts or by percentage. Participants can also be excluded from specific expenses. Running balances and payment reminders help groups track what remains to be settled, while receipt photos and line-item scanning support more detailed expense allocation.
Its standout workflow is Smart Settle, which minimizes the number of payments needed to clear group balances. That is useful for trips, shared households and other situations where many expenses accumulate across several people. Divvy also handles multiple currencies with automatic conversion, and it connects settlement activity with Venmo, Cash App, Wise and Revolut. Users can send Venmo or Cash App requests, while the published settlement methods also include bank transfer. These features make Divvy a focused fit for mobile groups that need both receipt detail and flexible repayment routes.
The product is free to download and use, with optional Divvy Pro subscriptions. Listed plans include Divvy Weekly Premium, Divvy Yearly, Divvy Premium and Divvy Quarterly; the latter two are identified as in-app purchases, while the yearly option covers one year of premium subscription access. Divvy suits solo and small-group use where everyone is comfortable working from a phone. Choose an alternative if your process depends on desktop access, or if recurring-expense tracking is central today, since that capability is presented as an upcoming feature.
