Our verdict on DimensionU

DimensionU is a game-based learning platform for classroom, after-school, and home use. It combines math and literacy curriculum with the TowerStorm, Meltdown, and Velocity game environments. The curriculum is aligned with state and Common Core standards and organized into eight levels for grades 3–9. Students can practice individually or in teams, while teachers can create game rooms, set time limits, assign curriculum, monitor progress, and review academic dashboards. It is designed for elementary and middle school learners who respond well to competition and multiplayer practice.

The published individual plans provide access on web and mobile, including iOS and Android. The Individual — 1 Month plan costs $24.99 per month for one student account and includes math and language arts curriculum plus entry into DimensionU esports competitions. The Individual — 3 Months plan costs $59.99 per 3 months and includes a 20% discount, while Individual — 9 Months costs $134.99 per 9 months and includes a 40% discount.
